Hockey Career Stats for Ryan Fairbarn

Professional Hockey Player Ryan “Wheels” Fairbarn is coming to Conway Arena, Nashua to coach players training with Strong Dynamics Hockey!

Ryan Fairbarn grew up playing hockey in Bradford, Ontario just north of Toronto.  Playing junior hockey in the Ontario Provincial Junior Hockey League, he left after achieving a scholarship to the Rochester Institute of Technology and began his college career. After four years in Rochester, he graduated with a degree in Criminal Justice.  Fairbarn’s greatest accomplishments in college were being a four year ECAC All-Star and in his first year making the ECAC All-Rookie Team.  In the 02-03 playoffs, Fairbarn was named the ECAC West Tournament MVP.  Fairbarn is ranked 29th in career scoring at RIT, and 2nd among defenseman with 32 goals, 88 assists and 120 points, and was rewarded in 2004 as Co-Player of the Year.  After graduation, Fairbarn continued his hockey career signing with the Wichita Thunder of the Central Hockey League.  Since then, Fairbarn has played four years in the Central Hockey League and is currently is in his sixth professional season with the Allen Americans.  Last season Fairbarn went overseas to Germany, and continued playing for the Rosenheim Starbulls.  In 58 games he had 22 goals and 76 points and was rewarded as the Defenseman of the Year.  He has now played over 300 professional games and has collected 66 goals and 240 points in that time.  In the off-seasons, Fairbarn has coached 6 years at the World Hockey Center in his hometown of Bradford, Ontario, and more recently trains players of all ages in Massachusetts and New Hampshire for Strong Dynamics Hockey Skating & Agility Training.
