Skating is the foundation of playing hockey. If you do not have the proper skating mechanics, explosive speed, quickness and balance your ability to outmaneuver your competition is greatly diminished.

Hockey players from youth to professional levels are improving their speed, conditioning, skating mechanics, puck handling and shooting skills by participating in this hockey program.

The hockey program is an innovative, scientifically designed training program that utilizes the only hockey treadmill in the world where hockey athletes can train the way they play the game, with their own skates.

The patented hockey treadmill, which has a unique ice-like surface, tilts from zero to 32 degree elevation, can run at speeds of 16 miles per hour, and incorporates the patented SprintCords in the workout to optimally recruit skating-specific musculature.

With the use of the hockey treadmill, the training center staff can analyze skaters’ mechanics and correct general skating flaws. Other unique advantages include:

• Optimizing the skater’s body awareness

• Specific training to the lower abdomen and groin regions

In addition to the use of the hockey treadmill, the hockey training program consists of:

To develop the complete hockey player, we combine our Hockey Program with the Hockey PowerCord Program. This patented training aid will help improve shooting velocity and accuracy as well as improve puck handling skills and specialized arm movements and agility for Goalies.

Hockey Athletes from ages 9 thru NHL Professionals have trained on the Frappier Acceleration Hockey Program and have realized increases in their shooting speed, puck handling ability, skating speed, power and maneuverability.
